You will never regret your successful effort at self improvement. I was lucky enough to complete three degrees, two while working full time. I well remember the tedium of slogging thru many of the courses. But, its been worth every minute spent. Your girlfrient has one smart father, and you are a smart man for following his advise.

It's sort of a long story about me going back to school, but in short: I went to school for 2 years, believing that was the direction the Lord wanted me to go in at the time. Many circumstances changed, one major one being that my father decided to put up a large chunk of money (that was a miracle the Lord did just sending that!) to start waht is now My Dad & Me, Inc., the business I hope to spend much of my life working at - turning bowls, etc., as well as the other side of the business, which is interior home repair.

Anyway, my girlfriend's dad essentially wanted me to have something to fall back on, should My Dad & Me, Inc, ever fail. I can't say that I blame him, but my trust is in the Father to take care of what I cannot.
