V-Draft, Virtual Drafter, any recommendations?

>I just stumbled onto a software program called V-Draft or Virtual Drafter that claims to be near 100% compatible with AutoCad and supposedly has a very similar look and feel. This would be great for me. I know AutoCad but can't afford either full blown AutoCad or even, at today's prices, AutoCad LT. This software sounds like AutoCad Lite Lite, without Cafine or sugar.
Has anyone ever used this package? Any comments will be appreciated.
