>Speaking as one who also made a similar AFS, nice going. I'd make one suggestion, though. It looks like you have two of the same type of filters -- they both look like they're the "spun cotton candy" type, for lack of a better description -- in tandem. I'd change one or both of them to a pleated type filter of the same size. I think you might catch a lot more dust.

I built mine, too, after scavanging a couple of cases each of 20" x 20" x 2" fiberglass and pleated filters from a company that upgraded their HVAC system and could no longer use that size. It's powered by a shop vac motor pulled out of a metal recycling bin and the plywood & fittings were out of my scrap stock. It works very well, especially for a unit that cost me a grand total of $0.00. I regularly build equipment that I can't afford and save my money to buy wood - I highly recommend the practice.

I found this (chair?) base in the dump a couple years ago and I've been moving it around the shop trying to figure out what to do with it.

I am going to cut some 12' canoe poles and you guys didn't like the idea of the individual rollers that I built so I needed to make one with solid rollers. About the time I figure I needed new rollers I tripped of this base and I saw my new roller stand.

I built it so it's lowest point is TS heigth and pull it up for my RAS and the CMS. Step on the pedal (on the column between the front two legs) and it goes back down.
