WC Weekend Accomplishments....

Dennis E. Peacock

>Good Morning to you all,

Not much going on in my life at the moment except for work at the day job. Here lately, it has turned into the day and night job. I put in for a little time off this week and much to my frustration, I started not feeling well yesterday and woke up this morning really not feeling well.

Enough of all that.....The computer desk is gone and I'm waiting for the customer to finish the room it's going in before it can be setup. So it may be a bit before I can get a picture of it all assembled.

I'm starting the oval kitchen table and I'm also in the middle of a dresser/baby dressing table for some friends at church. I'm supposed to have it done this week, but I won't know for sure about that since I'm a bit under the weather.

Church yesterday and another day of bass playing. My playing skills are getting better and better and I'm liking the results of practice and playing.

So what did YOU do this weekend?

Best of weeks to you all.

Dennis

>I was finally able to make it out to the shop this weekend. It's been way too cold as of late. I milled the lumber for the baseboard of some built-in cabinets in preparation for sanding and finishing.

>I started off the weekend feeling poorly, by this morning Lisa and I both feel really crummy. I hate being sick on my weekend. The only time I've been out of the house it feed the horses and check on a friends cats.

Hope you are Feeling Better Now

George@Colonel's Workshop-Havertown PA

>Good Afternoon Dennis,

My daughter visited with her family from Silver Spring, and I spent nearly all the time telling stories to and tickling the knees of my little grandsons. Liz's dughter will be born in around two weeks, so this was her last chance to come visit her parents, brothers and sisters. As luck had it, a couple of them or their own kids had ills, so it didn't work out perfectly. That meant more time with Pop-pop. :<)

While they napped on Saturday, I milled up more cherry lumber for the two new night stands. On Sunday my SIL hooked up a new XM shop radio, and I'm happy as a clam. There wasn't any party last night, so SWMBO and I watched the Superbowl. There was a lot of joyous shrieking outside. When I went out to investigate, it all seemed to be drifting in from Indy, and it sounded just like Jennifer. Have a great week.

I managed to cut down a small tree

Don Henthorn

>in the back yard that was trying without much success to grow under the canopy of a larger tree. Wasn't a big tree, but it sure tired this old man out. Wood doesn't look spectacular but I did get a few turning blanks for my little Jet mini. Boy that little 345e Husky is a sweet chain saw.
