>I am looking for a place to buy Hook & loop 5" and 6" sanding disk. Does anybody have a supplier they order these from at a reasonable price. The cost at the big box store seems a bit steep. I have a large sanding project comming up.

I've had good luck with sanding disks from Klingspor. Comparable sanding disks are available from a number of woodworking suppliers like Lee Valley, Woodcraft, Rockler etc. although I haven't checked their catalogs recently nor used their disks. Hope this helps.
