>The old heater in the drying box (for green wood) is giving up the ghost. All of the newer ones won't allow the box to go to a nice toasty 130-140 degrees F. I don't really want to build a heater.

So, I guess what I'm looking for is a small, fan-equipped heater with an adjustable thermostat (or a replaceable one). I can place it in the box or mount it outside the box. Any suggestions for a place to get a new one or how to build a new one are appreciated.

>How about using the old thermostat of the failing heater on the new heater? Or a remote thermostat to control the new heater? Maybe you could rewire it to run constantly and plug it into an outlet controlled by the new remote thermostat.
