>March 24th, the same weekend as The Woodworking Show in Tampa, here at my shop in Lake Wales. I will be cooking up some venison and will get some oysters for steaming (or raw if you prefer). Some pigsicles may be in the offing, too.
All are invited. Families are welcome, too. Hopefully all of Ray's cabinets will be done and out of the shop by then and we will have some room to spread out and play with machinery and handtools. And the completed deck is ready for your dining experience. I have posted invites at Woodnet and here. Let's all get to know each other.
Would you like to learn how to sharpen a scraper? See how a shelix head performs in a planer? Drink a lot of beer? Then this one is for you. Anyone in the last camp who may have too much can be accomodated for the night in the shop. One on the bench, one on the table saw extension table, and one on the 12" jointer bed. (Or you can pitch your tent or park your motorhome in the back yard.)
Lake Wales is about 50 miles east of Tampa and 40 or so southwest of Orlando at the junction of US Hwy 27 (north south) and State Road 60 (east west).
