You might study the bottle and se if you can find a date on it or call the company to decipher the date code if necessary. You might try mixing it thoroughly. I think I would be skeptical of any glue that had settle out or separated and would not use it for "good" stuff. Maybe jigs or fixtures, but not anything I wanted to rely on for years to come.

I think you can also test it by putting a dab between your finger and thumb and sticking and un-sticking them to see if it starts to tack up and become sticky and stringy. Not sure this works for Elmer�s. Maybe someone else will jump in.

>It will not become stringy. Best is to glue a test block and then break it. There should be near 100% wood failure.
