great gadget *LINK*

>Last Sunday I posted a message about a clogged dryer vent pipe that wasn't very accessible and fairly long.

After a little bit of Google searching I found a gadget much like a sewer snake made for cleaning out dryer vents. It looked promising so I put my order in right away. I recieved the package today and being like a kid with a new toy I couldn't wait to try it out. A quick scan of the directions and I'm off to the back yard with said gizmo and cordless drill.

After 20 minutes and a garbage bag of dryer lint I had the problem solved. Couldn't have been less painless and tidier.

>Thanks for posting the out come. I was one of the ones hammering you not to ignor this. I book marked the site. Do you think the kit is sturdy enough to use many times? As a home inspector, I run into lots of semi-clogged vents. Might be a way for my son to pick up some spare change.

I knew enough lint pickers in the Service to last me a life time. Some who couldnt measure up mentally were really nit wits, and were thus trained as nit pickers. :<)

>You know I thought of that too. Once I used it I thought it could be a real money maker if somehow you could let people know the importance of getting this job done.

web-page question?

>I recently upgraded to IE7, so this is the first time I've seen this message. When I visited this lint thing's web-page, IE7 popped up a warning:

"Do you want to allow this webpage to access your Cliboard?

If you allow this, the webpage can access the Cliboard and read

information that you've cut or copied recently."

Man, any company that pulls tricks like that on its web-page is automatically not trustworthy in my books, and immediately goes on my "list" of banned companies.
