Why is this site so slow?

Sluggish for sure. Couldn"t get in at one point.

>Our server processes bogged down between 11:28 and 11:32 am this morning, and any of you who were trying to get in around that time may have experienced delays or outages. I apologize for that and am working with out web hosting gurus to prevent it from happening again. We're right in the middle of our busiest season, and there are times that we actually have more visitors than the system can handle without slowing.
