Anyone catch "Jeopardy" tonight? Sorta OT

Eric M - San Jose

>Anyone catch Jeopardy tonight? One of the contestants was Jim, sorry, missed his last name. He's a woodworker and if I heard right specializes in lamps with shades made from maple. Alex sounded interested. Just curious if he's on the board here. I was pulling for him, but he came in second.

>Actually, I was on about 13 or so years ago. Unfortunately, I also came in second. Took them close to a year to send my second place prize, a lap top computer. By the time I got it, it was just about out of date.

>This is funny I was sitting in the bookstore while my son did homework between school and basketball practice reading a book about jeopardy by a comedian titled "Pisioner of Trebekastan" it is pretty interesting and informative about the show.

>I saw that don't usualy watch but got rid of the cable and was looking for something to watch why dinner cooked. can't take the dog fro a bike run as the ice is to thick. She got a nasty raspberry on her back side just chasing a rabbit in the back yard. Any way he makes the shades out of maple burl stablizes it some way to make it translucent and turns the bases out of other woods. sounded interesting. I think he must use a vaneer and streach it around the harp or something because it didn't sound like he turned the shade.
