>Snow does muffle sound. It works, I imagine, a lot like acoustic ceiling and wall materials, with many holes punched.

>Chances are that if there is snow on the ground, there is also snow on the trees which would muffle a lot of sounds, also rooftops which would absorb a lot of sound. another idea, if there is alot of snow on the ground, perhaps there is a dramatic decrease in people making noise. Wish I could cancel out those rolling boomboxes out on the roads. If left to my own devices, I'd use a .30-.30 do it, but Johnny Law takes a pretty dim view on that idea.

>with garish chartreuse paint, with a built in tunable sound frequency honing device. Turn it loose and watch it home in on the base reverbs/harleys/neighbors dog. Oh yeah! It has to have a really big, loud firecracker, too, one that uses a proximity fuse to go off about a second before impact.

>Told my wife a WWII bazooka would be just the thing for those wheeled boom boxes. She didn't see the humor, and told me so.

She thought I was kidding!
