Rockwell Cabinet Saw Question

Dave Rawson

>I have just purchased an old Rockwell 10 inch Cabinet Saw

Model# 34-450 Ser# G12613.

Can anyone tell me where I can find out the date of manufacture and where to find parts for a rebuild of this Saw.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Dave

>I have a thirty five (plus) year old Delta/Rockwell contractors saw. Bought parts for it from Delta through their website through the "service net" thing. Whatever it was, its on the Delta tool site. Also found a local repair shop that gets the parts without any trouble.

>Dave, I have a Rockwell/Delta Unisaw and I think that is the same model number as mine. Go to the OWWM website where you will find a dating chart for Delta machinery. Mine was manufactured in May of 1964, has the 1.5 horse 240volt single phase motor. I upgraded the fence with the Unifence which will bolt up with no modifications at all. Delta still has parts for these old warriors. I got a replacement front door w/handle from them.

I also got them to send me a diagram w/parts numbers @no charge.

Delta can be reached at 1-800-223-7278

>Thanks to those who responded I have narrowed the saw down to the mid 50's to early 60's.
