biscuits or pocket holes for plywood??

>Assuming you mean pocket screws, they would probably be about the same. Biscuits would require clamping while pocket screws would not. But pocket screws leave a visible hole on the back side. For shop cabinets, I'd use pocket screws given the choice.

For me, in the shop, I use some of Norm's favorites, 16 ga air brads, until the glue dries.
