Dad's first Drill-press is the 4th time a charm?

Bart Leetch

>I built a base & covered it with laminate for the drill-press with a drawer & place for the switch & painted & mounted another motor. I intend to build a wider wood table for it about as wide as the base which is about 16 1/2" I only have just so much room anything bigger will be drilled on the floor model drill-press.

>Hello Bart,

That is an old machine which looks perfectly restored. The color is like that sported by one which my #3 son received from a friend, only his is a radial. I think it originated as a JC Penny tool. Very large base for a bench mounted radial tool. It was built to last the ages, and has.
