Hide glue vs. fish glue - creep resistance

Denis Chnard, Orlans, Ont.

>My brother-in-law, who does piano restoration and builds harpsichords, has asked me to inquire about creep resistance of said glues. He wants his work to be reversible for repairs over time, in the traditional fashion. From what I remember reading, hide glue is quite creep resistant, but neither he or I know about fish glue's creep resistance. I checked LV's site (they sell both), and haven't found an answer to our question.

Can anyone help here?

Thnx,

DC
