Don't bother opening if you already read this stor

>I was helping Ed put new siding on his house last summer. I stopped for a beer and was watching Ed continue to work. Every so often I would see him throw some nails on the ground. I got curious about this so I asked him "Ed why do you keep throwing nails on the ground?"

Ed answers "because the heads are on the wrong end".

I picked one up and looked at it then told Ed "nothing is wrong with these nails, they are for the other side of the house".

I Give Up!

>How can I tell if I've already read it unless I open it?

Which reminds me of a story. I had a law partner years ago who reminded me of Yogi Berra in some respects. He dictated a 20 page memo to another partner, and closed the memo with: "Steve, call me before you read this."

Hello, Ed. Anybody home in there?

>A fellow I worked with was hard on the help and would cause secretaries to quit by yelling at them insisting they had screwed up the transcriptions. One day I looked in his office because he was screaming "I DID NOT SAY THAT". Oddly, he was screaming at his own voice coming out of his dictation machine.
