???????? Google SketchUp Pro 6

>Hi all -

I just downloaded the free version of Google SketchUp Pro 6.

It only allows for eight hours of usage.

Maybe I misunderstood, but there a long-term version that's completely free?

Thank you.

FWIW: I've been using SketchUp for more than a year now (I think). Formerly, I had something called PTC ProDESKTOP that I had learned and REALLY liked but the publishers had the licensing keys fixed so you couldn't migrate it to a new OS. I switched to SketchUP just before Google acquired them. It takes a while to learn - as do most/all CAD programs - but its worth the effort. As someone else suggested, don't just do your drawing in pencil because learning is harder because once you learn how to use it you will save countless hours and be able to make changes to your drawings with almost no effort. The tutorials for SketchUp are MUCH IMPROVED and well worth the time you will spend on them.

Note: Technically SketchUp is classed as a 'modeling' software product not a 'CAD' product, but the differences for hobbyists is splitting a hair (or is that a hare?).
