SWMBO inquiries.

Rod Peterson -- Ormond Beach

>Last week there was yet another inquiry as to what SWMBO means and, as usual, the responses ranged from the short answer to more extended ones. Years ago, in response to a similar inquiry, I had uploaded an explanation page to my website that incorporated two or three very informative posts made back in the Badger Pond days as well as some of my own analysis.

I thought it might be worthwhile to make it a part of the WoodCentral lexicon, and you can now find it in the Articles Section right here at WoodCentral. Here is the link to the specific SWMBO Article, which, incidentally, is the first article of 2007.

I hope you enjoy looking at it and I hope you take the time to enjoy the other valuable material in the area.

>Just go to this site >> http://www.acronymfinder.com <<, type in the ACRONYM (SWMBO or whatever), and see what it means.

Uh, Gil…

>…I know what it means, especially since I wrote the article in question. I was alerting folks to the existance of a definition right here at WoodCentral, so one doesn't have to go off site. And, if I may say, ours is a far more thorough explanation than the simplistic what-the-letters-stand-for result at acronymfinder.

>Rod,

That article truly proves that you are a justifiably all-around certifiable knowledgeable article scribing senior.

>Rod, the post was not aimed at you; I figured that you know what swmbo stands for. Just for us ordinary folks who might find it useful when not camped out at WC. Just the basic "what does that mean" is all old folks like I need concerning acronyms.

Stay calm, grasshopper,

>Uh, I must have been sitting in my chair wrong. I figured since acronymfinder had already been cited in the previous SWMBO inquiry that you were trying to enlighten me, which didn't make sense, given my post. Oh, well—time for my prune juice.

>Rod,

I had never seen your WC SWMBO article, nor did I know who you are or what you do on WC (I very seldom get past the Turning section). My post was just a bit of help for those that might need or want to use it as I did. On-line acronyms used to prod me into wasting time trying to figure out what they meant (heaven forbid I should ask anyone), then I found that site any life was simple again :)).
