>I'm cutting to the chase and asking here first.

I'm looking for a supplier of jewelry box components. Ring holders and the cloth pouches often seen in the inside tops of boxes. Not the entire box, mind you. Just the interior upfits.

I lied ..... I did google this but it didn't hit me in the face. Someone here always knows.

>The usual suspects.

No lid pouches ..... some ring holders and plenty of prefabbed trays.

I'm thinking more along the lines of suppliers. That's as opposed to the hobby type items the usual suspects carry.

>I don't remember seeing any but I wasn't looking for items like that. Try www.riogrande.com They carry all sort of jewelry making and jewelry display items. I buy bags for my hand mirrors from them.

>Joe,

Probably not what you are looking for but the July/August issue of FWW had an article titled "Finishing Boxes Inside and Out" In which one author demonstrates how to make ring holders to fit your design. Also how to do the lining etc. I didn't make the ring holder but did use her method to do the bottom lining of a jewelry box I recently made for my sister-in-law. I found it very helpful.

>Joe,

I just finish a three jewelry boxes for my girls for Christmas. I made the ring holders. I used some velveteen wrapped around a piece of foam. I glued the velveteen to the foam with 3M 77 spray adhesive. I put two parts in a small compartment (at the top of the sliding tray). Hope the picture below helps. The red inside of the box is flocking.

Good luck,

Michael
