Where is the Hardware?

I am trying to build bookcases which I want to slide on floor tracks. I am looking for a track where I would screw the track into the floor, the inside housing into the book case and the inside housing would slide on ball berrings inside the track. This would be the exact same mechanism as a drawer pull, except instead of extending out over nothing, it would extend within the track, thus making it more stable and able to carry more weight. To be specific, the tack would be 36" and the book case would be 18" so it could slide back and fourth.

>I have made a few really large, heavy pocket doors and faced the same challenge of finding smooth-rolling hardware that would support the weight. I did a lot of research and ended up using rollers mortised up into the bottom edge of the door. The floor track was a bronze extrusion roughly in the shape of a W, and the coved roller wheels ran on the center hump of the W. Click the link below to check them out.
