>I have some plans to make a round table that the top will tilt 90 degrees and can not find a place to purchase a tip table catch. Has anyone made a catch or know of a place to buy one? I got the plans from woodcraft plans but they are not very helpful. thanks

Whitechapel has them, referred to as 'banjo catches'. Ball and Ball also has them, but they call them ''table catches'.

Londonderry Brasses also carries several that you would be hard pressed to tell weren't 18th. century originals.
