URL conundrum

Al Stokka - Cambridge, Iowa

>Good day,

I found, in the back (p. 102) of issue 189 (Jan./Feb. 2007) of Fine Woodworking the following URL:

fw.gizmolab.com/13

I've tried every permutation I can think of an have gotten nowhere. Thinking that it might be a misprint, I check the previous issue (Tools & Shops) but a similar URL is in that issue (www.gizmolab.com/12).

What's the deal? It has become less about curiosity about the CAD promoted and more about the unusual URL.

Re: URL conundrum *LINK*

>The "/13" part of the URL is just a counter so they can tell where you got the information from... looks like the "http www" part got garbled, here's the correct URl...

>Try the basic name first. www.gizmolab.com

Also type gizmolab into google. Sometimes it's .net, not com.

I also am at a loss to understand why Gizmo Labs wouldn't catch a misprined URL in a advertisement that, surely, they paid for. ?

Stop calling me Shirley,
