Better blades

>There are alot better blades out there. What kind of lumber are you trying to cut and how thick might get you a good blade suggestion. ie I prefer to use bimetal blades for mdf. I try and cut a 1/16" wide of the line and then sand to use a spokeshave to take it down to the line.

>Try some better blades. Cut a little bit wide of the line and use a low angle spokeshave to cut nearer to the line and then use a random orbital to sand to the line. You could also just use a random orbital sander with lower grits (60 or 80) to sand to the line.

>I bought a Makita jig saw to replace my old B&D; I also bought some Bosch blades. I couldn't believe the difference in the cut with the new saw but I suspect most of the reason is the Bosch blades.

How do you choose?

>There's so many. I wish Bosch gave the specific purpose for each blade. (Bri, who got a 1590 for Xmas)
