Who is James Krenov?

James Krenov (1920–2009) was a highly influential woodworker and studio furniture maker of the 20th century. Born in Russia, he later moved and became renowned for his craftsmanship and philosophy in woodworking. Krenov’s work is celebrated for its elegant use of line, proportion, detail, and material, combining a deeply personal vision with uncompromising craftsmanship
