I'm a slacker...  Husband, father to two great guys, small business owner, and WoodButcher par excellance. I took woodworking class in high school forty+ years ago, and am just returning to it in the past six or seven years. It seems I never have enough time to really work at it like I want to. I work in a converted a three car garage with insulated overhead doors that are still operable. (SWMBO still thinks I will make room for her car some day.) I use both power and hand tools. Right now I am wanting to learn more about the quiet side. I am presently starting one of Chris Swartz's workbenches.  I have one small dog a Papillon named Vida as in In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida (Iron Butterfly - it's a stretch I know.) We also have a yellow tabby cat named Slinky (previously aka Boney Butt but now referred to as Double- Wide). Other interests include hiking and travel. We have a great group of friends from San Antonio and Austin that we travel with. Places we have seen include Big Bend National Park, Grand Canyon N.P. Death Valley N.P., Isle Royale N.P., Havasu Falls and Cado Lake. We have been to Alaska and found it fantastic. We made a two week trip to Italy a few years back for our silver anniversary. We visited Venice, Florence, Rome and Pompei. I also enjoy bike riding. Does anyone remember TOSRV in Southern Ohio? How about the Tour of Kettering? Updated Jan 26, 2005
