Pedestal box, turned from buckeye burl finished with green transparent airbrush paint. Finial is blackwood, base is purpleheart with black finish.

What is the size? I like the rim around the lid. (That's a box I'd like to see with the lid off, too!)

Just curious, what kind of paint do you prefer? When I saw it I imagined an airbrush dye.

Thanks everyone! The globe is about 2 1/2" in diameter. I used transparent airbrush paint for the green. I'll try to get a shot without the lid, the textured rim is part of the box, not the lid.
