New Wood Hauler...

>Finally...no more manual unloading of wood or shavings. 6'x12' (4.6 cu yds), 11,900lb GVWR, self-contained hydraulic dump. I've already dumped 3 full loads of just cut-offs. Really saves on back strain. It will eventually be used to haul whole logs for my (future) bandmill.

>Ya got a dually to go with that? That's over the limit for most 3/4 ton pickups. Nice, though. Some really serious hauling. What's the unladen weight?

>I have an '04 Dodge 2500 Diesel, equipped with the tow package, which is rated to haul 12,600lbs. The trailer itself weighs about 2700lbs.

>Cool. That means no strain. You could haul some serious lumber with that. I could have used it a long time ago when I was loading the back of my truck with horse manure and then emptying it by hand to whomever wanted it.
