>Turned this 6" X 3 1/2" hollow form out of a blank Virginia from VA generously sent for me to see. The bottom is not quite what I wanted, but will do. Collar is from a scrap I picked out of box at Paxton's. I suspect it is cocabola, but not sure. Thanks, Virginia. I found the wood kind of stringy and fuzzy, but it finished well enough with a little floor sealer help. Thanks for looking.

>Virginia from VA? LOL Wasn't sure you would be able to get much out of that little piece, Don, but you sure managed! I still haven't gone and gotten the trunk piece. Hopefully it has some better (less stringy) wood. I like the collar.
