Goose Neck for laser Pointer?

>I've been looking around for a goose neck to hold a laser pointer for a hollowing rig and I have come up short.

Does anybody know where I can get one?

>Do a search on McMaster-Carr for gooseneck. I found some there but can't link to the page. Alternately, I suppose you could turn the segments and make your own.

MSC has sort of a goose neck available. Actually any of the machine tool catalogs have these. It is a series of flexible joints used to hold things in the metal working industry. They work really well and you can get them in different lengths. They look like a series of beads strung together. I don't know what they are called but will look them up tonight if no one else comes through before I get off work.

>Might be called "Loc-Line"? See http://www.loc-line.com/. I bought some larger stuff for dust collection at the lathe, but they also make really small parts (small enough to be used as the skeleton of poseable dolls) that might be what John is referring to and may do the trick.

Brian was right. I found the Loc-line modular coolant components in my Enco catalog. www.use-enco.com or 1-800-873-3626 Loc-line 1/4" hose kit (13" with fittings) part no 505-2087 $8.10

>Ron,

For any of these goose necks, you can get a "Beam Clamp" and Home Depot or Lowes, etc in the electrical department. Once you look at, you will figure it out.
