>My Kelton Sharpening System came today and I have some questions. I see some marking on the bevel of the Multi-Jig that the instructions dont cover. I think maybe they represent angles but I am not sure. My next question is about the Skew Jig. How do you know where to swing the arm after you have ground one side to get the same angle on the other side?

With the skew attachment for a radius grind swing the arm in an arc until the whole bevel is ground long point of the skew toward the center or grinding wheel. Then flip the skew over and repeat the proceeded on the other side. One side of the skew is sharpened by swing the arm from left back to center and the other side by swing the arm from the right back to center.

To grind a strait grind place the handle but in the V block and the bevel on the grinding wheel. Swing the skew arm in an arc until the skews cutting edge in perpendicular to the wheel then lock the pivot point. Now adjust the slide arm in and out until the bevel angle is correct.

I hope the discription is clear enough.
