family reunion

>I'm off to Southern Indian to a family renuion. We meet at SPring Mill State Park. My Great,Great, Great,or however many grandfather started the Mill there so we consider it the homestead. They set it up as a pioneer village and sometimes do woodworking demonstrations there. About 5 years ago I was there and showed them how to use the spring pole lathe. It was fun.

I will probably stop by Choice Woods on my way through Louisville to see Clay and of course all of his nice wood. I don't think I'll have time to look up any turners in the area, bummer. If I get out of there early enough on Sunday I may give Jamie Donaldson a call but we are the sponsoring family this year and I'll have to clean up so I don't expect to leave very early.

>Used to visit there in the twenties and thirties. Was more primitive then and a great place to visit. Had to watch out for the bears then.
