Anyone ever heard of a Ludell lathe?

>A neighbor of mine has a Ludell lathe for sale. The price is low, the lathe is pretty big, intact, and appears to be of average inexpensive lathe quality. I'd guess it's 15-20 years old, made in Taiwan, and has a 3/4hp motor, but I've never heard of Ludell. Is it worth $50?
