CHUCK ADAPTERS

>Anyone ever have trouble with Nova chuck adapters? My new Titan chuck wobbles just a little bit- enough to cause difficulty with parts that mate. I don't think a brand new chuck should have visible wobble even if it is slight.I'm on my second adapter-hasn't cured the problem. I would really appreciate any advice-help. Thanks Pat

Is it the adapter or the chuck?
If you mount the adapter by itself is it straight?
Is the adapter screwing all the way onto the spindle?
I had that problem with one of my other lathes and had to use a very flat washer between the adapter and spindle head.

>I agree. Also, the adapter might be a bit too short, and not seat properly against the spindle shoulder.
