>Do you follow the 10% rule when using a microwave to dry a bowl? I did on a piece of cherry burr yesterday and ended up losing part of the natural edge it "warped" so badly. I used a minute 45 seconds at half power on a 600 watt microwave.
Got to admit though, no cracking!
