Vacuum Pump Size Needed?

>I'm thinking of putting together a vacuum chuck. What size vacuum pump should I get?

I have a Jet 1236 with a 12" swing.

I've seen rebuild pumps from 5 - 10 cfm at $160-260.

>Bernie is a fellow woodturner and has a good product at a fair price. His pump is made to be portable. It has a handle and cord and is ready to plug in. I bought one. now I just need to get the parts to attach it to my lathe.

The unit is a Robinair Model 15600 6cfm 115v

Reman. w/ cord and switch all portable

6cfm is mor than enough you just don't

want leaks and lose vacuum(holding power)

175.00 shipped to your door. I also carry

quality gauges for 18.00
