>I started a new job last month, and unlike the old job this one allows for time on the ground at the different places we go. I will be staying at a hotel near the Dulles airport in Reston untill Tuesday morning. Are there any good Woodturning stores, or galleries in the area, or if any of you live in the area and would like to get together Sunday or Monday, I will be free all day. my email is lrjet35a1@yahoo.com

Thanks

>Ken there is a Woodcraft in Rockville which is a bunch from where you will be. There is also one in Baltimore 1++ hour. The Central District Woodturners are somewhere in the area. Not much out where you will be but airplanes. Of course you could get to DC by road and Metro for Smithsonian visits.

>Hey Ken,

I usually get to Reston about four times a year. Not too much locally. Woodcraft in Springfield. There is a shop in the Hyatt (Appalachian Spring)that has some bowls by Mike Mahoney and some other turned stuff. Of cousre if you get into town the Renwick Gallery is always good.
