>Has anyone had any experience with the new Shop Fox W1729 19" bandsaw. If you have, or have a link to a review of this piece of equipment, I would love to hear from you. I have been comparing the Rikon 18" to the new Jet 18" saw with 12" resawing capability, and out pops another prospect!

>Jonathan,
I have the Rikon 18 and it absolutely rocks! I have yet to slow it down at all no matter how thick the blank, right up to the max (12 in). Changing blades is really quick too, and that comes in very handy since having the right blade on there makes all the difference. I have no regrets and highly recommend the Rikon.
