>I seem to remember some time ago someone posted a picture of their lathe with what looked like a dentist light above the lathe. I have been trying to find it again with no luck. If it was a dentist light would the person repost it and let me or any one else know how well it works. I need more light but I don't want something in the way of turning. Thank You

>Hi Bob,

That was probably me. To answer your question, it works great!!

The hard part is finding one at a reasonable price. I lucked out on mine and found it for $10.00 at a vocational school auction.

>Hi Jamie,

I got mine from a place called Bulbworks.com I just told him what light I had,"Pelton and Crane" and he provided me with much good info on the bulb I needed.

It does look like a halogen type bulb. They ranged from $12.00 to $45.00. I bought the cheapy. But it has been going strong for over a year. And it provides a brillant bright light. Something I really need these days to find all those pesky sanding lines that I use to see with ease. :)

Best wishes,

Dave
