>I'm the proud owner of one of these drills, Cat #0375-1, with an inoperatrive power control (variable speed trigger part # 22-66-1375). I was informed by the reapir shop the trigger assy has been discontinued by the manufacturer. Perhaps some of you might have an idea as where I might find one of these.

>I doubt that. The drill is still being sold. Try www.milwaukeetools.com parts and manuals and find a dealer close to you. If that is the old modle the new switch will work. I know I have both the modle with the reverse switch at the rear and on top. If yours is the one with the switch at the rear you may have to make some mods or give up the reversing feature...

eBay bargain?

>Which switch do you have, the one on the top or the larger one on the rear? If you are coming to the Southern States Symposium bring it with you, I'll have some parts and some remanufactured units. Milwaukee has sold out to the company that owns Ryobi I think so that may be the reason you can't get a part. Try Dixie Industrial Service in Chattanooga; ph 698 8063. I don't have the area code.

>I've confirmed the issue w/Milwaukee and they have no suggestions as to a source of parts. they claim there are no parts available in their distribution centers. My switch reverses from the rear. I've not seen the new switch (top) has anyone done the modification for top reversing type switch?

>Hmmm. I guess You would have to decide which direction you want to run the drill and break off the top of the sliding lever. I suppose you could rig up a push-pull lever on the side that you could use to reverse the rotation. The siwtch seems to be the same except for the placement of the reversing mechanism. Haven't tried it but have replaced the top type switch a couple of times.
