Weecher Flex shaft Reciprocating add on.

>Can anybody tell me if the Weecher flex shaft that turns a rotary tool into a reciprocating tool will fit my Dremel VS? The Weecher model # is WE272F...I have a VS Dremel that came with a flex shaft that I bought probably 4 years ago or so. The next question is....do they work? For the little bit I think I would use it, if it works halfway decent then it might be a wise choice rather than spend $100+.

It does, however, work great (and is tons of fun). I happened to have some other version of a flexshaft machine around and it fit that one. Recommend the flexshaft cutters as opposed to the ones that come with the Weecher.

There are two types the they sell. One for a dremel type of hook up and one for the large hanging unit for thiers or Foredom units. They are different connections and will on interchange. I do have the one for the dremel and I find it works fine. I personally think it will work ok unless you try to use it for long periods or extensive work. You will burn up your Dremel if you try and use it like one would a Foredom unit.
I second what Mike said about the cutters. Get the four pack of Flexcut knives (RG310 about $30).
