>I went to look at the lathe during my lunch hour. I bypassed the switch and the motor ran fine. Switch problem! Took the switch apart, cleaned it and everything now works. I noticed this switch is different than the switched on my older Mini's.
Since this is a new lathe, and the fact that this fellow recently joined our chapter, should I give him a club discount for my services???...:-)
I'm just glad it wasn't the motor. Thanks for the suggestions!
