>I was a guest at the Hickory N.C. woodturners meeting at Klingspor yesterday where Russ was doing a demo on a "segmented platter". Due to misinformation I missed the first hour.
He is enjoyable to listen to and even though I turn mostly pens his tips on woodworking was informative.
He had an interesting take on alcohol soaking for bowls etc.
I hope there is another member here who was present that could fill in more information on this.
