Another Alcohol Question

>I am roughing out some black walnut bark edged bowls and wanted to try the alcohol drying, but was not sure about the bark. Will the alcohol loosen the bark? Have not had any trouble with the air drying, but it takes so long!
The bowls are about 15" tip to tip, 6" deep, and just over 1" thick

I don't do a lot of natural edge bowls but Roger Dunn does and he has been using the alcohol drying method since last November. I saw the bowl he posted last February while giving a presentation to his turning club. It is a beauty and had been a tree one month earlier. Keep us posted.
