>Box Elder burl, 7"x4" with branding and pyrography. Finished with Danish oil, and when dry I'll buff it too. I made this for Mark for a trade we did. I'm very pleased with my side of the trade. Sure hope he is too.

I think you have a hit there. I also like the bottom. It really sets off the top and is just the right height to give it balance.

Both of your bowls, as bowls, are very very nice. The natural edge on both are an especially nice touch. Shapes are quite good.
