END GRAIN BOWL

Jim King-Iquitos, Peru

>I dont see much of end grain turning which I like as it shows the wood best so I thought everyone may be interested in a 18 inch dia. shallow bowl 1/4 inch in thickness and 1 1/2 inch tall. The wood is Tigre Caspi. It had cracks and problems but a few tubes of Chinese glue solved the problem and I almost wish there would have been more. We call them the spider webs.
