Taking a HUGE risk

>I really appreciate having this forum. I hope everyone heard that.

However.....

There are other forum type software out there that allows you to see the threads that have new posts.....has this ever been discussed in the past? I get to a point where I won't scroll down anymore to see new posts on a thread. There is so much action on this board that I just think it would be nice to have a format like the AAW.

And just in-case you didn't hear me before, I am not knocking anyone,or minimizing the effort it takes to keep this running....

Just curious.

There are many display options available here, and a good explanation of them is at the bottom of the page after you click on "Set Preferences" at the top of the index page.

If you have the default settings, it can be a bit onerous.

I use POSTED WITHIN LAST 2 DAYS, COMPRESSED LIST, which just shows you the index of the titles of the first message in each thread until you click on it, and SINGLE MESSAGE, and OLDEST FIRST.

The oldest threads are at the top - I deal with them first, before they scroll off. At this writing, there are about 50 active threads with messages less than 2 days old (or 32 less than 1 day). Just adjust the message age to your usage. Sometimes, on the weekends, I will set it to just a few hours.

Anyway, I think that playing with the settings will increase your reading pleasure. Enjoy!
