Does Anchorseal stain wood other than Madrone?

>Over the past few years I've been lucky enough to get Madrone and always coated ends with Anchorseal. When I turned the blanks I noticed a brown stain on the end grain and thought it was rain stain getting in under tarps. Now I've noticed it on smaller hunks that weren't the butt ends of logs but were in smaller pieces which were 'sealed'. Has anyone else noticed this on Madrone or other woods?

No April fools joke.

>I have used it on many woods without a problem. I can't imagine it soaking in far enough to cause a stain or change that would not be turned away.
