Is is like this one? If so You can very carefully try to open the brass part with a spanner (has to prongs to put in the two holes) I am not sure if its under alot of compression it is likely its under some with at least a wave washer to take up any play. Then you can replace the bearings. Please be careful if you try and let us know.
