>Jim; Make some wooden faceplates/glueblocks. They work great with glue or double backed carpet tape. Here's how. Get a tap that size. Harbour freight sells them on the cheap. Cut some scrap hardwood into the sizes that you might want. Drill the appropriate sized hole in the middle. Tap it, then put some CA glue on the threads to strengthen them and re-tap it. Screw it on your spindle, then turn it round and flatten the face. I like to cut a small relief on one end and round the edges to show which end has the relief. Unscrew it, turn it around and screw it back on nice and tight. Now trim it up and flatten the face. Now you have a real nice cheap faceplate or glue block ready to use. If you make several at a time it dosen't take too long to make them and they are ready to go. Enjoy... OB
